Royals Game with the guys...and me!

Brian came to town while Sammie went wedding dress shopping!! We met up with his family and Jon for the Royals/Cubs game.

So Lucas got to attend his 2nd Royals game.. he took me along as his date.
Due to traffic it took us close to 2 1/2 hours to reach the stadium but he did awesome.
It was a perfect night for baseball and even though the Royals lost, it was a blast. Lucas even enjoyed the fireworks.

3 months

Mr. Lucas is growing like a weed and changing every day. Here are a few pictures Ash took this weekend! Lucas was full of funny faces but not many smiles.. Ash was a trouper trying to photograph him.

What a goof ball
Not sure where this face came from..lol!

He has major thunder thighs!

Very serious boy
I can't get enough of those smiles

At 3 months LW is 16 lbs and 25" long.
He sleeps close to 8 hours every night and of course, eats like a champ.
This month he found his hands and will chew, bat and pull mom's hair out at every chance possible.
Lucas is a wonderful baby and we can't get enough of him.

Funny Faces

Our happy boy!

I think Lucas needs to lay off the cheeseburgers.

You'd think those cheeks would hold in the drool...not the case!
"Whats up mom?!?"

Found my fingers

Mean Mom

I've always noticed Lucas is sensitive to loud or high pitch sounds... He is getting better but who knew this toy would bother him.

Moving out

So it happened..Lucas is sleeping through the night. We ordered the video monitor and off he went to his big boy bed.

The camera is pretty close right now which is nice for me.. I can see him breathing.

It's amazing how technology has changed.
Thank you Ash and Jarod for showing us this amazing monitor.

*I know...back is best. He only sleeps on his stomach for his daytime naps while I'm watching him. During the night, he's on his back.

Photo Book

Our May 2011 photo book.
This month I did the easy route and just had Shutterfly make me a book with all the pictures. Due to our crazy schedule lately, this book is pretty plain but I am happy it's done.

Water Baby

Our new pool!

We didn't join the country club this year so we splurged on a $40 blow up pool.
After a hot weekend of baseball we decided to test it out... I wasn't sure if Lucas would like the cool water.

But he loved it!

Smiling at Daddy

Not sure if those cheeks could get any bigger!

Schedule

I think we have a routine!! :-) After a very busy Memorial weekend Lucas has put himself on a nice little schedule. I have to say it's really nice but makes me sad.. means he is growing up. I know.. I know.. he's only two months but still.. everyday he changes and I feel it's going way too fast.

Here's our day:

6:30am- Nurses then back to sleep
9:00am-Wakes up for the day. Eats, plays and poops (the last is very important! We try not to leave the house until that happens)
11ish- Cat nap
1pm- Eats and back down for a long nap in his crib
4:00pm- Eats, plays and sometimes poops.
5:30pm- Cat nap
6:30pm- Eats and plays
8:00pm- Cat nap
9:00pm- Bath, play and bottle. (We do one bottle a day)
10:30pm- Sleeping
10:30pm- 6:30am.. SOOOO thankful for that long stretch of sleep.

I told Sam if he does this for 7 days we will get a video monitor and move him into his own room.. *tear.

Working Out

I've been trying to add this video to my blog but I guess it's too long.

Here is Lucas working out this morning.
