1 month stats and lately

 Life seems to be calming down after Daniel and Michelle's beautiful wedding (I'll post pictures from that soon) and my mom being in town. I love all the events and visitors but i'm happy to have a normal routine again.

Henry's first month flew by! I thought our life would totally change with a new baby but totally not the case. He's moved into our life and hearts so seamlessly it feels like he's always been here. 

Stats:

10 lbs 5 oz 

22" 

You wear 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. We have a loose schedule with morning cat naps, long afternoon nap and more cat naps in the evening. It's not consistent yet but more nights then not you sleep 7 hours straight. The pack and play has been set up in our room and has been used to hold folded laundry. Ha. Everyone sleeps longer when you are in our bed so I guess we are co-sleepers for now. Most nights Sam will make his way into Lucas' bed and sleep with him. I think he hears all the little newborn grunts and noises that I can sleep peacefully through. 

Mr. Henry you have such a sweet soul and stubborn personality. When startled or overtired that bottom lip goes down and you make a pitiful face when crying. You're most happy in the morning and on stroller rides. Our gravel driveway always bumped Lucas around past his enjoyment.. you on the other hand LOVE it and will grin ear to ear. When it's time to eat you get very upset if I take too long to provide food. And heaven forbid I stop a nursing session before you're ready. 

You know what you want when you want it. I think that's a bit of mommy in you. :-)

We are so in love with our two boys and couldn't be happier g-d blessed us with another boy to love and cherish. 

We had a great Father's Day with golf, swimming and enjoying our family of 4. To every family their daddy is the very best and that is true with ours. I marvel every time I see him with the boys and feel truly blessed.
