Up to no good

I really thought the bean table would be a good idea.

*please excuse the messy room. Once we know what #2 is we will paint and decorate. Right now it's the stuff room.

Lately

Last weekend we spend the night in Manhattan celebrating the Burks wedding. We arrived in the afternoon and let Lucas and Bailey run around the hotel for a bit. Lucas took a nap and woke just in time to head over to the wedding site.

Don't these two clean up nice

So serious!
Ash the matron of honor
The bride with her Daddy

So during the beautiful ceremony the guys were able to get a live feed of the Kstate football game. It was working great until Jarod's phone started ringing super loud and since he was holding Tatum, it took a few seconds to turn off.

Then THIS little stinker was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on my phone. The room was quiet and all of a sudden he screams "hot dog!!!!!" "Mommy...hot dog" (For those without toddlers...it's a song at the end of the show called Hot Dog Dance)
Let's just say we were embarrassed but luckily we were in the back so bride and groom didn't hear much.

The whole wedding was wonderful. The food was outstanding and everyone had a great time!
Lyssia and Michelle (you're next Shelly!!)

The rest are random pictures from the past few weeks. I need to get better about taking more but it's been so busy!

I love smoothies

Favorite activity is taking the cushions off the couch and jumping.

Baby #2 update.
Finally back to normal! Thank goodness!! Just started 2nd trimester and already showing. I didn't even have a bump until 20 weeks with Lucas. I guess I didn't work my ab muscles as much as I should. Oh well.

Only our son

would give the Governor a side-eye look like this!

Thank goodness for Friday tomorrow! This mama has been craving a big glass of red wine but will enjoy OJ instead.

Funny Kid

Just in the past few days Lucas has mastered two and three word sentences.  It's really fun to work with him and expand his vocabulary. For example we dropped Megan (mother's helper/expert babysitter in training) off at home and as we drove away he kept saying "Bye Bye Megan"...and repeated it the entire.way.home. He also told the laptop "BYE BYE Puter" on our way out the door today.. (shake my head)
Sam decided to have some fun with his new trick today.

Translation: Cowabunga Dude (Grandpa and cousin Tallen taught him that!)

Boo

Our little dinosaur was more then excited to get candy this year.

He walked by himself up and down Main carrying his bucket. Towards the end he started to drag all the candy but refused to let us help him.

Look who we ran into!

Love this little boy.

Unrelated to Halloween..I recently took the dive and switched back to the iphone. I made the mistake of adding a few apps for Lucas. He wakes up asking for my phone now! Granted most are learning/educational games but he could spend hours playing on it.

In a week he learned how to repeat days of the week... I guess I can't be too upset.

After lunch I let them use the book app while I clean up. They listen to stories with different characters and sounds effects. It's actually really cute!
