*the next few pictures show how much Lucas loves his Riley. Poor dog!
Great Weekend
Saturday morning the ladies and Lucas participated in a 5k to support Haiti. It was pretty warm but a great way to start the day and wonderful cause.
After Sam got home from work we headed to KC for shopping and family time.
Lucas was just amazed by the fountain.
While Sam was coaching these goof balls...
Lucas, Michelle and I headed to the pool.
All smiles eating lunch
Lucas has never been a huge TV fan. He will watch sports with dad but after five minutes he's gone. Well everything has changed since Rio has come into his life.
I try to only use TV time for the late afternoon when I need a few minutes to make dinner or get something done. It's a pretty cute movie with lots of color, fun music and funny birds.
What a silly boy!
Then and Now
Going home from the hospital Lucas needed extra blankets to keep him from being swallowed in the "big" car seat.
Now look at this big kid! We had a friend return it the other day and who knew it would keep him so entertained.
Notice him sitting with the doll :-)
14 months
Everyday seems to be something new in Lucas' world. I'm so grateful to be home and witness all his milestones. I need to be better about writing or blogging them because like everything else.. time is starting to run together.
Lucas is a runner now...no more walking for this kid! He also has no fear.. which is giving this mom grey hairs!
Talking and words are the highlight of our day. The new big ones are "Thank you & No Thank you, Milk, Nope, Eat, Bird, and Hello to everyone!"
Rio is the go-to favorite movie. He will even bring me my phone and say "Watch, Watch" so I can pull up youtube videos.
He's now on cow's milk and water only. We've tried juice a few times but he's not a fan..which is fine by me. Poor kid is like his mama...room temp water..he doesn't even like ice!
Big boy bed is going well! A few weeks ago he did some sleep walking which was hilarious! We watched him on the monitor sitting up in bed completely asleep swaying. Good thing he can't open doors yet.
Whenever he spots his cousins he starts clapping and runs to give hugs!
And as you can see from the pictures..he is all about daddy! Sam is on a short business trip and last night LW wouldn't calm down and go to bed. Finally at 9:45pm I gave up and we called dad. All Sam had to say was "Time for Nite Nite" ... Lucas told him goodnight, handed me the phone then proceeded to roll over and close his eyes. I was in shock!
We are having a blast!
Dr. Snyder
We are so excited for Jarod and his HUGE accomplishment on graduating KU Med. Here are a few pictures from his party Saturday night.
AWESOME cake!
Bella...LW kept bringing ice cubes over but she wasn't too interested.
All I can say is poor kitties... They kept trying to run from all the kids but were not successful.
Shooting guns
Playing BBall with T-man!
I will probably loose my son to the farm one of these days. He was up well past 10:30pm and loving it.
Photo Dump
Just want we've been up to!

He saw Sam pulling in the driveway and got super excited.
Such a helpful boy!
