Oklahoma City Trip

The Fenton's, Mayes's, and Keim's headed down to Oklahoma City this weekend to watch the Miami Heat play. This trip came at a perfect time! I was starting to get a horrible case of cabin fever and Sam has been reff'ing so much.. it was a perfect weekend vacation.

We left early Saturday morning and arrived just in time to check-in and get seated at a local bar for the K-State/ Colorado game. The Bricktown area is really cool with great restaurants and vintage-type bars.. it reminded me of Austin.

After the game we cleaned up and walked 5 blocks to the Ford Center to enjoy some NBA basketball. Since Sam and I put every penny towards the house we got $10 tickets in the nose-bleed section. As we started our climb towards the rafters, my stomach started to turn. We lasted 10 mins in our seats before we both had to get back on solid ground. For the majority of the game we walked around, talked, and just enjoyed spending time together. When the 4th quarter started we were able to find some seats on the floor and we stayed until it was over. I'm happy with our $10 tickets but now know, we can't handle being so high up.

After the game we headed to a bar and enjoyed the rest of the night dancing and hanging out. I had a great time with everyone!

Recent house developments

Here's a recent picture of the house. The roof and shingles were installed and all windows & exterior doors. Its starting to look like a house! We met with the electrician last week and he'll start once the temperature get above freezing. Hopefully by the time all this snow melts, we'll be moving into our home.

More snow..

Here are a few recent pictures of everyone playing in the snow. We've not only had the snow but bitter cold temps thats made things interesting.
