Lucas sayings

The past few weeks Lucas has really started to open his vocabulary. I've been trying to keep track of all his funny or interesting sayings. Here are just a few.

"What's the noise"
"Mommy (or daddy), what HAPpened" (he puts lots of stress on those three letters
"Mommy shower, all done"
"It scare me"
"One more time"
"Daddy go??" Usually followed with work or basketball
"Not yet"

My favorite:
When asked ANYTHING he'll say "ummmmm" and tap his lip before answering.

He will now remember things from days ago and talk about it. We spent Monday morning at the Snyder farm and he's been talking about it ever since.
"Mommy, what did Jarod do?"
"Ranger stuck"
"Oh no!!!"
"Ash help"

Here are some pictures too.

Crazy hair toddler eating oatmeal and yogurt. What a goof.

After nap I asked Lucas if he could smash up some banana's for muffins.

Needless to say, we didn't share them with anyone else.

Just a boy walking a dog kicking rocks. Nothing better.

Sweet baby Sam

How can you not just melt when you see this face?

Lucas and I headed to the farm to meet baby Samuel and play with big sister Halle. I walked in the door to see Miss Halle in only a diaper and shoes yelling "Hi buddy!!" They've been buddies since 6 months old and it's awesome to watch the interaction.

Sarah was so sweet to let me get a few shots of this brand new baby boy. All I wanted to do was snuggle and soak in all his little noises and sweetness.

so silly

Samuel was only awake for a short while but had us laughing with funny faces!

Thanks Sarah for letting me capture Samuel at 8 days old. We all know in a bink of an eye they are no longer newborns.

A typical day

On Monday we decided to stay in our pj's and just play all morning long. Here's how it went down.

Silly faces during breakfast.

waffles with peanut butter and syrup is his favorite

Play time

Time for paint!

He doesn't last long with dirty hands..after a few minutes he starts to whine and tell me "wash off." He's much like his mom in that way.

While cleaning and moving some laundry I noticed it got very quiet. I found my phone missing and a very quiet toddler playing on it.

After nap we tested a pinterest recipe for biscuits and it was a hit. I only let a toddler help when I know the food won't be shared :-)

Lots of eating!

The funny face!

Then he giggles and laughs at himself.

I cherish our days together!
