TGIF

Since we had a late ball game and Lucas decided to get up early...we had a relaxing morning at home. I got all his favorite things and threw him in our bed.

Milk, cereal in old yogurt cup & Rio. This kid was beyond happy and I tried not to feel guilty about plugging him into a movie. Even toddlers need lazy mornings once in awhile!

While he did this... I did 5 loads of laundry, vacuumed and steamed the floors, dishwasher loaded and lunch cooked. I'm in no way bragging..it's amazing what you can get done with a cup full of coffee and 90 mins of uninterrupted time.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

Summer is here

We've been soaking up every minute of summer so far. I look at the calendar and just wish the days would slow down. It's full of swimming, playing in dirt, baseball games, sleeping in (yay!) and tons of sunscreen!

My mom made it to town so Lucas got a few days of being spoiled!

After Lucas was all nice and clean from his bath he wanted a peach...threw the biggest fit until I handed it over. This boy has been eating nonstop these past few days.. Example : After he ate my yougurt/strawberry/blueberry breakfast and a whole banana he pushed the highchair over to the frig and said "eat, eat."  At least he likes the healthy stuff! Frozen peas and corn are his current favorite!

My mom also brought up the next round of clothes from Brady!! Thank you again Emily for all the wonderful hand-me-downs! He has style because of you!

League

Lucas didn't wake up until 9:45am today..I'm pretty sure that shows how much fun he had this weekend at the League tournament. Even though Sabetha got 2nd place it was a great weekend of good & bad baseball and lots of outdoor fun.

This kid is spoiled from both sides of the family. Meme sent him a water table and it's been a big hit during the warm weekend.

Sam was walking around watering the grass and Lucas kept asking "Dada?? Dada?"

On Saturday I was going back and forth from the garage to the house packing stuff for the afternoon/evening ball games. I've been taking Lucas' blanket and binkie to the later games since he's usually up way past his bed time. This is what I found when I came back out to the garage.

Poor guy would've fallen asleep if I would've let him.

Most of the time he was happy and had a blast playing with cousins, friends and the boring mom and dad.
