Future Mrs. Keim

This past weekend we had Michelle's (Sam's brother's fiance) bachelorette party in KC. The weekend started in Topeka so everyone could meet and eat some lunch before heading to the Legends to shop. I have to say Michelle has some awesome friends. They are so sweet and care so much about their friend.

Everyone minus Donna
We stayed at the Embassy Suites right near the Plaza and after a crazy shuttle ride we made it to dinner at Coal Vines.

Cheers to the bride
After the dinner we walked around the Plaza looking for a place to just sit and relax before the limo ride.

Pretty ladies

The bride and Santa

Ash found a groupon for a 1 hour limo ride to tour Christmas lights. It was interesting to say the least.

Bride with her veil that was a pain too. But she was a trooper and kept them on all night.

The last drink of the night.

See my ring, stay away! It's a girls night!

Trip to the City

It was the city to Lucas but for the rest of us, it was just Topeka. Kelsi and I have been trying to make it down to the Discovery Center for months now. We finally made it happen! We arrived early which was great..the kids could explore with little to no crowd. Days like these make me miss the city. He had soooo much fun and I LOVED watching his little brain work. I need to tell myself the hour drive isn't bad and so worth it once we arrive.

The wow face

This was his favorite toy...shoots fabric balls through the tubes and out the top. A boys dream!

I told Sam my New Year resolution was to expose Lucas to more things out of Sabetha. I'm not hating on the town I live in, just feel the next 5 months we can explore more. Soon enough it will be hard to leave town with two kids.

Thanksgiving in Dallas

This year we decided to venture to Texas for Thanksgiving instead of Christmas. This was our first 9 hour car ride with Lucas and wow... it was long. On the drive down we split it up over two days, which was nice but gosh it's still LONG. On the drive home he slept no more then 45 mins! By hour 5 I was BEGGING to drive. We survived and had a great time.

Sam and I did our usual... shopped, ate and saw a movie. Lucas had a great time playing with the kids and Mimi.

Lucas watched as everyone played Wii.

Enough pictures mom. Here's the camera lid

We exchanged gifts too! Sam and I got a Keurig and we're in love.

Mimi heard a rumor Lucas was getting a kitchen from Santa so they got him all the food and a shopping cart. He's been throwing apples and oranges around for a week.
