Family Christmas

We had the Keim family Christmas yesterday and I think we are still recovering from all the fun. We had yummy food...probably too much and lots of playing.

Mom.. I ate. Can I go play now?

This might be the only picture I have of Hunter because he is fast! I 'm pretty sure I didn't see him sit down once the whole day...minus his nap. 

 We had the kids go hid then come out when their toys were ready.

So after hours of playing, eating and no naps we thought a group picture would produce smiles.

Cracks me up! 

We were beyond spoiled and the highlight was spending so much time with family.

I had to wait around the house for the Directv guy this morning so why not do some baking? 

Lucas was awesome and just hung out, helped a little and played in his PJ's.

 I was proud I only kept one pan out and the rest went in the deep freeze.

Side note: When you ask your toddler to feed the dogs, don't get distracted! 

Hanukkah

We started Hanukkah a day late since I was in KC with the girls. Last year we tired to get Lucas involved but he was just too young. This time around he LOVES lighting the candles and knows exactly what presents are. It's really funny how appreciative and excited he gets about the smallest things. He will say "WOW" and "OOOOOHHHH" for a tiny board book. 

We read the story of Hanukkah then he helped me light the candles.

2nd night in his Christmas pj's. Poor kid is going to be so confused. 

Since Halle is now home with her mama, Lucas and I have enjoyed some serious lazy mornings. We are busy playing and occasional cleaning but love hanging in our pj's. I have to say it's my favorite part of the day just hanging out. We try to be dressed by at least 10am to venture out of the house.

 I will savor this years of no school!
